St. Barnabas Medical Center Parking Garage, Livingston, NJ
Designed for Growth
This four-level, open precast parking garage provides parking for the hospital campus. The garage is connected to the west wing expansion via an elevated pedestrian bridge. The functional design of the garage is comprised of a single helix ramp system with two-way drive aisles and 90-degree parking. The glass enclosed stair towers and glass backed elevators are provided for enhanced passive security. The façades are comprised of pigmented architectural precast with embedded thin brick, expanded metal mesh panels and a large metal panel clad cornice projection that is reminiscent of the architectural design of the adjacent west wing expansion. The garage has been designed with provisions to accommodate a future two-level vertical expansion.
