Collaborative Science Environment

This five-story, 108,000 sf academic science and laboratory building features classrooms, laboratories, a vivarium, greenhouse classrooms and administrative spaces for the Biology, Neuroscience and Computer Science departments. Steel frame construction is designed for flexibility for future changes in the use within the building. The building is built in to the sloped terrain such that Level 3 is the main entry on the south while Level 1 is the grade level at the north. Designed to fit between and connect to two adjacent buildings, the project features a dramatic four-level atrium, floors designed for sensitive equipment, landscaped plazas on Level 2 and 3, and flex space for future fitout.

From the USGBC, this project is certified LEED platinum.
