Senior Project Engineer Christopher Gottschall has 16 years of experience as a structural engineer. He oversees all aspects of a project’s structural and foundation design. Chris’s expertise, especially with steel, post-tensioned concrete and mixed use allows the Harman Group to streamline the design and coordination of large complex mixed-use projects with varied structural systems.

His experience in structural design includes the master plan and ensuing $650 million of construction for a children’s hospital in Philadelphia; the Race Street Student Residence at Drexel University and the Philadelphia Family Court in Philadelphia, PA; the Bucks County Justice Center in Doylestown, PA; Hudson Lights, a large-scale mixed-use complex in Fort Lee, NJ; and East Market, a large mixed use site in Philadelphia containing new retail space and apartment towers as well as the renovation of two existing structures on the site.

Chris is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers (DVASE). He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering and has also undertaken graduate work in Structural Engineering and Concrete Research from the Pennsylvania State University.
